DSW Goes Hybrid for 2021!
For the past 10 years, Denver Startup Week has been a celebration of everything entrepreneurial in Denver and beyond. The weeklong, free event unites the entrepreneurial community in celebration of the great companies, innovation and ideas, and the people and inspiration behind them.
This year, we have worked hard to present DSW in a format that will allow both virtual and in-person experiences. 2021 is all about choosing your own #DENStartupWeek adventure, and we’ve built the event so there are options for everyone to engage – near and far. We want our community to feel safe while also getting the most benefit from the Denver Startup Week experience, which is why we have created this hybrid model that allows YOU to create your own path. Innovation and community are more important now than ever. We want to ensure you are set up for success as you prepare for our first-ever hybrid event.
WHAT DOES HYBRID MEAN?
This year, the continued safety and comfort of our community is top of mind as we take DSW to a whole new level in a hybrid format. We are committed to accessibility for all participants with varied preferences for interacting in-person during this pandemic. This means that almost all sessions will be held virtually as Zoom webinars. The in-person interaction will be concentrated in our social and headline events, including Keynotes, Happy Hours, the Job Fair, and the Physical Product Showcase. Every session that is presenting a content-based program (for example, a keynote presentation) will also be livestreamed.

WHERE WILL IN-PERSON EVENTS TAKE PLACE?
We are thrilled to announce our home base for 2021: DSW HQ Delivered by Amazon, hosted at the Denver Pavilions. Stay tuned to see how we’ll take over the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver and offer safe, limited-capacity ways to come together in person.
Other events will take place at other venues around Denver. Please look at the 2021 schedule for venue details, and note that in-person events all require separate registration - be sure to sign up for the in-person version if you plan to attend physically.
WHAT IF I PREFER VIRTUAL?
No problem! Nearly all of DSW 2021 will also be livestreamed. Some social events will not have a virtual component, but we are committed to making all of our content-based programs (workshops, keynotes, panels) available online. WILL IT BE SAFE? WHAT ARE THE RULES?
To ensure we are keeping our community safe, we will be strictly following all city, state, and federal guidelines. In-person events will be limited capacity and have safety measures in place. Exact guidelines will be updated as we near the event start date, and will adhere to local, state and federal mandates. By participating in DSW in-person events, you agree to adhere to the health and safety guidelines we put in place, including but not limited to social distancing, limited capacity events, masking, or more. If you prefer not to follow these guidelines, or if you feel uncomfortable gathering in person, please plan to participate virtually.
