The Startup’s Crash Course to Google Adwords
In 2015 Pashmina (founder of Flow Simple, a Google Certified Premier Partner), gave a presentation on Validate Your Startup for $20 a Day. She showed startups that paid search can be the quickest ways to grow a startup at every stage of the product life cycle. This session taught founders how to leverage paid search and display ads (on Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, etc) to validate their ideas/products, prove market demand to VCs, and grow an active customer base rapidly. It quickly became evident that Google ads was the most important channel for everyone there.
This sequel focuses on Google Adwords, and will go in-depth into understanding how it works, and tactical ways to put together a campaign (or improve an existing one) for your startup, or existing business. During the first half of our presentation we will demystify all things Adwords and paid search. We will talk about:
- How to Setup and Organize Campaigns
- Extensions and Ad Targeting
- Useful Reports and How to Measure Performance
- Bidding Strategies and Tactics
- How to Write Ads for Clicks
During the second half, we’ll break out into groups. Here you’ll have the opportunity to ask one of our panel of Certified Google Adwords Experts for help with a new or existing campaign. We will help you get started in the right way, or help you optimize an existing Adwords account! If you’ve tried your hand at Adwords and seen NO results, this session is also for you.
