Magic is a product of training, discipline and knowledge. The end result only appears to be magic when all the elements work in concert to create a sense of wonder in the end-user. I use my product development experience on the Star Wars’ BB8 droid to reveal what I have learned to be the Holy Grail of Experience Design. The talk provides useful lessons for product designers, entrepreneurs and anyone in the business of collaborating with others to create something that is unique and magical.
