A Flight of Women Makers: building beauty through science & production

Join April Archer (CEO - SaraBella Fishing), Erin Cox (Quality Assurance Analyst - Great Divide Brewing Co), and Debra Wilcox (CEO – The 3D Printing Store) for an interactive discussion, science “demos” and breakout sessions with Colorado female entrepreneurs who make products while utilizing technology, sciences, creativity, and safety goggles. Shannon Berner (Marketing Manager - Great Divide Brewing Co.) will moderate the event.

We will share experiences, stories, and inspiration for the joys and challenges of being a female “maker” in fields traditionally dominated by men. Women are proving themselves and carving their way into the industries of 3D printing, fly fishing, and beer-making. We’ll talk about the sciences and technology behind what we produce. Through education, hard work, and a zest to show the world their brains and their brawn, these women makers are making big waves!

After the discussion, participants will have the opportunity to taste Great Divide beer, sample 3D print projects, and cast SaraBella fly rods. Cheers to “Printing Your Ideas” and "Smart Beautiful Fishing" in a place where "Great Minds Drink Alike"!

Note: All ages are welcome, but must be 21 or over to participate in the beer tasting experience.
