Let’s Get Going! What to Expect for Denver Startup Week 2022
Denver Startup Week is a celebration of everything entrepreneurial in Denver, and the largest free event of its kind in the world. In 2021, the tenth annual Denver Startup Week went hybrid and brought together 10,000+ people for over 200 free sessions and events to celebrate Denver’s thriving entrepreneurial community. In 2022, as we continue to grow our arsenal of tools to gather safely in pandemic times, we are excited to bring back more of the in-person energy and social activities that bring Denver Startup Week to life!
Our volunteer-driven, free event unites the entrepreneurial community in celebration of innovative companies and ideas, and the people and inspiration behind them. The core programming is centered on entrepreneurship in all sectors and stages with an emphasis on technology, design, social entrepreneurship, manufacturing and business. FORMAT FOR 2022
Our community has demonstrated amazing flexibility in following Denver Startup Week as we went fully virtual in 2020 and hybrid in 2021. Looking forward to September 2022, the DSW organizers are excited to bring back more in-person gatherings and activities. Attendees can expect a return to the pre-pandemic experience of DSW, including HQ (previously Basecamp), in-person sessions, live social gatherings, and Headline events occurring in downtown Denver. Those who are not comfortable to gather in person will still find content available online, both live and recorded following the week. We listened to our community and supporters and can’t wait to respond to the demand for in-person activities in 2022.
SESSION SELECTION
Our community plays a critical role in curating and creating the event’s programming. Each year, the community is asked to both provide session submissions and vote on the proposals.
The organizing committee then uses the vote totals to guide the final selections of world-class programming. Ultimately, the sessions and events are curated to reflect the diverse expertise of Denver's startup community and serve up a little something for everyone. Bringing Denver Startup Week to life takes the support, skills, and drive of an entire community: entrepreneurs, investors, civic leaders, educators, business pioneers, and more.
