CALLING ENTREPRENEURS OF COLOR: THIS PITCH IS FOR YOU!
Denver Startup Week is thrilled to announce our first annual BIPOC Pitch Competition, taking place on October 5 from 6 - 8 PM. We encourage BIPOC entrepreneurs to present their business concept during this opportunity to a panel of judges for the opportunity to win a cash prize or investment capital, along with a spot in the main Pitch Finals on Thursday, October 7. The BIPOC DSW Pitch Competition is open to all Denver Metro based for-profit companies and non-profit organizations.
Dianne Myles, Denver Startup Week DEI Co-Chair, offers insight and encouragement to companies considering applying: “Whether it's Shark Tank, Silicon Valley, venture capitalist, or friends and family, start-up funds have literally changed the lives and trajectory of business owners. October 5th is no different, except the focus is you. It's time to shoot your shot. Invest in you and make your pitch. BIPOC business matters. Show up! Pitch! Take your business to the next level. You deserve it, and the community needs your company!”
