The Importance of and How-Tos around getting more Diversity and Representation among our Investing Ranks

Without representation through capital allocation our communities, product offerings, and influence are lacking. It's not just about impact but it's good business to fund enterprises building for the future. The funding gaps are massive when looking at women-owned and diverse-owned businesses raising capital. We won't achieve real equity if we don't address who is allocating that capital.

Across North America, ethnic and racial minorities represent only 20 percent of managing-director-level investing professionals. Women make up 45% of the total venture capital workforce but only sit in the key role of investment partner 5-16% of the time.

So what can we (you) do about it? Join this panel discussion to hear insight from a diverse set of voices across investing, accelerators, and education.

This event welcomes current and future investors along with any individuals interested in this topic.
