Watching quadriplegic former IndyCar race driver Sam Schmidt drive his modified Corvette at UK’s Goodwood Festival of Speed – made possible through a partnership between Colorado’s Arrow Electronics and UK’s McLaren. Join us at this session to learn how Arrow came together to realize Sam’s dream to drive again at racetrack speeds using semi-autonomous head controls, and to discover the latest exciting developments in assistive technologies on both sides of the ocean.

Arrow will share this incredible project and their experience racing at Goodwood. At the same time, Arrow also introduced its semi-autonomous walking technology enabling Sam Schmidt to stand and walk for the first time since a racing accident left him paralyzed from the shoulders down 21 years ago.
