Bootstrapping to Success in the Era of VC

Going after venture capital isn't for everyone. Come listen to a panel of startup founders that have grown their side projects into profitable businesses, without giving up equity. They'll share tips on idea validation, launching, pivoting, and working with tight budgets. They'll also talk about work-life balance as a founder and the challenges and mistakes they've made along the way.

The panel will feature:

John Doherty - founder of Credo (https://www.getcredo.com/). Credo helps businesses find, hire, pay, and work well with vetted digital marketing firms and agencies who specialize in their needs and type of business.

Trent Carlyle - co-founder and CTO of Lawgical (https://lawgical.com). Lawgical operates a number of brands that serve the legal industry including ServeManager (https://servemanager.com), a SaaS case management product, and Legal Talk Network (https://legaltalknetwork.com), which produces over 25 legal-related podcasts.

Lisa Gumerman - CEO & Co-Founder of Sunshower.io (https://sunshower.io). Sunshower.io makes cloud infrastructure easier for anyone to navigate, simplifying the complicated task of creating and keeping tabs on cloud systems.

Brian Pontarelli - Founder of FusionAuth (https://fusionauth.io), a web-scale identity (CIAM) platform, and CleanSpeak (https://cleanspeak.com), a profanity filter & moderation tool. With his latest venture, FusionAuth, Brian works with startups to Fortune 500 organizations at solving login, registration, and user management challenges.

The panel will be moderated by Moses McCall, an organizer of the Denver Indie Hackers meetup (https://www.meetup.com/DenverIndieHackers/).
