Age Matters: Designing Digital Products for Every Generation
The generation in which we were born influences many things, including our relationship with technology. The current generational landscape may be the most diverse that history will see – from the Baby Boomers who saw color TV hitting primetime in their childhood, to Gen Z who learned how to unlock an iPhone before talking. Digital products are not one-size-fits-all – each generation has distinct needs based on shared values and differentiating characteristics. This session will examine the defining behaviors and expectations of each generation that must inform your design, in order to create digital products that can be successfully utilized either by just one generation, or by multiple.
