Join us for a sensory experience that explores the intersection of food, design, branding, product development and community with Rick Griffith, Partner and Design Director at the design office and typographic laboratory MATTER. Rick will discuss the design decisions behind Denver's Super Mega Bien, a Latin American Dim Sum Restaurant in the Ramble Hotel where the menu is constantly changing with a variety of coastal and mainland dishes from all over Latin America.

This session includes a (4 part) tasting, so please bring ID for alcohol and express any allergies early!!!

Rick began designing in 1991 with the help of just a handful of New York's contemporary classical musicians and venues as first clients and collaborators. He ran out of space, fell in love, and he relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1995.

He has designed and curated 3 exhibits on typography and letterpress printing and has exhibited in and occupied the Denver Art Museum. MATTER has been celebrated by the Type Directors Club, Print Magazine, Dwell, The AIGA 50 Books Exhibit, and has had works collected in various Museum Collections including the Denver Art Museum, and The Tweed Museum and the Butler Library of Rare Books and Manuscripts at Columbia University.

Rick's true orientation is towards self-reliance, disruption, creative compassion, and independent thought. All travel is time travel.
