(RE)designing Denver to Support Women in Entrepreneurship

Access to capital, networks, and strong support systems are a few of the elements women often name as not only necessary to their success, but more difficult to secure. Imagine Denver as a place where women entrepreneurs truly thrive. This breakout session explores this topic and what it would look like to make women's specific needs (policies, programs, physical spaces, structures of support, access to resources, etc.) more central to the design and growth of our city.

Join three of Denver's foremost thinkers and thought leaders as they discuss investing in women as an economic imperative fundamental to Denver's sustained growth and vibrancy. Virginia Santy, Ph.D., leads a discussion with Tami Door, CEO of the Downtown Denver Partnership, and State Representative Leslie Herod on what it means to configure place, programs, and policies from the perspective of women.
