It’s no secret—today’s entrepreneurs understand that keeping nimble while crafting new business solutions are essential to surviving today’s marketplace. This panel will explore how artists are helping organizations innovate in these market conditions and their new role as a creative entrepreneur.

Nico Salazar, Meow Wolf & Future Fantasy Delight
Meow Wolf is an arts production company that creates immersive, multimedia experiences that transport audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of storytelling. The Meow Wolf Art Complex is home to Meow Wolf’s first permanent installation, House of Eternal Return. Their work has been written about and praised by the New York Times, Ars Technica, NPR, LA Times and Hyperallergic. https://meowwolf.com/
Future Fantasy Delight is a Santa Fe based label founded by artist Nico Salazar specializing in illustration, fashion design and live art performance. Pulling inspiration from the Street art, Super flat movement and 80s anime, Nico’s ultra-graphic black and white style showcases a unique synergy of cute and grotesque imagery that lends itself to countless mediums. Nico received his BFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts and has exhibited in Los Angeles, New York and Santa Fe, collaborating with brands such as Paul Frank Toys, Blamo, Novelty Haus, and Meow Wolf. Channeling his unique character-driven aesthetic through a magic marker wand into a line of tangible products : Future Fantasy Delight is born. http://futurefantasydelight.com/
Justin Gitlin
Justin Gitlin is a software developer specializing in mobile and game development. Over the past 16 years, he’s developed engaging user interfaces, video games, physical experiences, native mobile apps, and has optimized the web for mobile and touchscreen devices. Justin is also the co-founder of Ello, a network of creators that has attracted millions to its platform. Past clients include Nike, Audi, Coca-Cola, Google, Oakley, The North Face, and Verizon. http://cacheflowe.com/
Katie Watson, Impromptu Company
Katie Watson is a Detroit-born artist living in Denver, Colorado. She attended the Kansas City Art Institute and has an MFA in Advanced Photographic Studies from Bard College. Katie has held residencies at PlatteForum and Redline and teaches courses in New Media at University of Denver and Metro State. In 2014, Katie formed Impromptu Company with collaborator Tara Pattie. Impromptu Company is an evolving design studio, specializing in event design, large-scale installations, and site-specific works around Denver. http://www.impromptucompany.com/

Brian Corrigan is a creative strategist and artist exploring the intersection of technology, art, culture and place. He is the founder and director of OhHeckYeah (OHY), a 2014 ArtPlace America creative placemaking recipient. OHY is a first-of-its-kind interactive street arcade that uses the power of play to strengthen the social, economic and physical fabric of place.
