Imaginarium's Design Challenge
The imaginarium’s Design Challenge is designed to give anyone a chance to be an innovator and put forth ideas they have to transform K-12 education in Denver Public Schools. This event is akin to a pitch night except both youth and adults will be on stage pitching ideas back to back. Award funding for chosen ideas will be up to $10k. A vetting panel consisting of k-12 students and established business leaders and entrepreneurs will vet the pitchers, and the event will culminate in narrowing the pool of 14 candidates to the top 4 that will be invited to the Imaginarium for deeper project scoping and feasibility assessments before being awarded funding. At past design challenges, attendees commented that the value for them is in hearing the range of ideas, so this event will have up to 14 teams pitching. All audiences welcome, a family-friendly and exciting event for the entire community.
Apply by September 1st to pitch.
