Creative Collaboration//Live Demo//Happy Hour: The Tortoise and Harriet
What do you get when an unknown author, Spanish illustrator, portrait photographer, outdoor retailer, couture designer, a bunny and a tortoise decide to do a project? The Tortoise and Harriet, is the first children’s book by Denver publisher Hop Steady Press. Join local entrepreneurs, author and director J Audrey Nelson, Topo Designs co-founder Mark Hanson, photographer Melanie Watson, fashion designer Mona Lucero together with Antonio Donat (Dulk) the amazing illustrator all the way from Spain, to talk and demonstrate, on the art of collaboration. The power to attract talent and build a successful team should be among the strongest tools an entrepreneur carries. See how this team brought The Tortoise and Harriet to life, with a photo shoot starring Boris the Tortoise in one of his custom made ensembles, followed by a live sketch with Dulk. Stay for a cocktail, or tea, and take some fun pictures with us at this social event!
