Neurodiversity in Entrepreneurial Endeavors; Candor, Coping, and making it your super-power

Did you know that people with ADHD are 500% more likely to become entrepreneurs?
Leaders like Richard Branson, Charles Schwab, Daymond John, and Ingvar Kamprad all identify as neurodivergent and even credit their successes to it. Neurodiversity takes many forms, from autism to ADHD to Dyslexia and it’s estimated about 20% of the population has some form of neurodivergence.
Neurodivergent traits like the ability to hyperfocus, lack of acceptance of the status quo, issues with authority, and vast creativity align closely to the skills needed to thrive in entrepreneurial endeavors.
Hear from local leaders who are close to neurodivergence, either identifying as neurodivergent themselves or as an ally to someone with neurodivergence. We will hear about their experience; challenges, triumphs, and even how they turn what is considered a disability into an advantage. We will explore their specific experiences, how you can be a better ally, make accommodations, or even if you’re questioning whether you should pursue a diagnosis yourself.
