Speaker:
Imran Khan is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Verishop, a new e-commerce company with the mission to bring online shopping back to life. By merging industry-leading tech and retail, Verishop aims to be nimble and innovative in creating an ever-evolving shopping destination that both shoppers and brands can count on.

Prior to co-founding Verishop, Imran served as Snap Inc.’s Chief Strategy Officer, where he oversaw the company’s corporate strategy, revenue generation, business operations and partnerships. Under his leadership, Snap’s annual revenue run rate increased to $1.6 billion from zero in less than four years.

Previously, Imran was a Managing Director and Head of Global Internet Investment Banking at Credit Suisse where he advised on more than $45 billion-worth of Internet M&A and financing transactions. Before joining Credit Suisse, Imran held the role of Managing Director and Head of Global Internet Research at JPMorgan Chase. He's a proud University of Denver graduate, Class of 2000, having earned a B.S.B.A in Finance and Economics.

Moderator:
Ryan Heckman, a 20-year private equity operator and investor, most recently acquired and served as CEO of EVP Eyecare, a Denver-based surgical eyecare provider that grew from less than $1 million of EBITDA to $13.3 million of EBITDA when it was sold in a $153 million transaction to the Cortec Group. Prior to EVP Eyecare, Mr. Heckman co-founded Excellere Partners in 2006, and co-managed a top-decile performing lower middle market private equity Fund I. Prior to Excellere, Mr. Heckman was a Principal at KRG Capital Partners and Boothcreek Management Company. Mr. Heckman is the Chairman of CiviCO, a Denver-based community leadership development organization, focused on empowering entrepreneurs, senior executives and, founders, and community leaders to reach their maximum potential. Mr. Heckman also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Denver, and skied in the 1992 and 1994 Olympic games.
