TiE Denver has continued to evaluate founders and ventures in association with its list of the top-ranked Colorado startups. In the weeks leading up to Denver Startup Week, TiE will bring together its top-scored startups. The chosen startups will have an opportunity to pitch to the shark tank panel. During this Denver Startup Week event, TiE Denver has committed to send one participant to the TiE50 Awards in Silicon Valley in May 2020. At TiE50, the company will benefit from significant exposure to venture capitalists, angels and entrepreneurs; online virtual showcasing, and technology and business partnering/networking.

The event will feature high-profile judge panelists, including Bhawnesh Mathur, Investor, Past President & CEO of Creation Technologies (~$1B revenue company) and TiE Denver Board Chair; Keith Larson, TiE Global Board of Trustees, leader of multiple other ventures; and Neville Teagarden, Venture Capitalist with AI Capital. The event will be moderated by Jeff Schell, TiE Denver Board Member, Charter Member, and Venture Partner of Perpetual Ventures.
