The Language of the Internet of Things

As the number of connected devices is expected to grow to 25 billion by 2020, interoperability has emerged as one of the primary factors hindering the advancement of the Internet of Things. With so many different devices speaking different languages, creating scalable, future-proof solutions has become a daunting task for developers and organizations alike.

At this event, industry leaders will discuss how we can simplify the way we engage with connected systems and devices. Speaking on the panel will be Greg Jones, CTO of MachineShop (www.machineshop.io) and Mark Geene, CEO & Co-Founder of Cloud Elements (www.cloud-elements.com). They will discuss the transformation that APIs have brought to more traditional data consumption and integration, and how the language of Web Services and APIs are breaking down the many complexities of developing IoT solutions.

Snacks and beverages will be provided, and there will be an opportunity for Q&A's at the end of the presentations.
