Finding your voice is so much more than your ability to speak up. It's about navigating and overcoming the fear to ultimately honor your authentic self; to trust yourself while knowing you are risking it all - employment, acceptance from friends and loved ones, certainty of your future, etc. Amplifying the voices of others requires a tremendous amount of self-awareness, tactful empathy, and courage. Whether you are looking to find your voice or amplify the voices of others in your journey as an ally, this session will critically examine the complexity of the trans experience and how we can all learn how to trust ourselves a bit more as we navigate the uncertainty and ambiguity of what it means to be human in the workplace and beyond.
