THE BUSINESS OF ART: Exhibit (IN-PERSON ONLY)
Artists may not identify as entrepreneurs, but they see opportunities, creating something from nothing with a vision that few can perceive. Technology has provided artists with tools to expand their creative prowess, extend their reach and move between the physical and the digital. New economies are empowering artists and creatives to build communities, control distribution and find financial success.
This evening celebrating entrepreneurship and art will start with art installations—ranging from digital and physical art to music, film and more—followed by a panel of local creative experts from the Denver community discussing how to build purpose-driven, sustainable businesses, leverage digital tools and stay true to their passion.
This event is part of Entrepreneurship Week at the University of Denver and will be hosted in-person at the Community Commons on DU's campus. Visit daniels.du.edu/E-Week for more information.
