The builders of new business in the U.S. are women, people of color, and immigrants. Yet, they face significant barriers to access. Mi Casa Resource Center has helped individuals overcome these hurdles for 45 years and constantly witnesses how aspiring entrepreneurs journey from an idea to the market. This event will spotlight local small business stories and offer food prepared by graduates of Mi Casa’s food truck program. An inspirational panel of minority business owners will highlight how they overcame multilevel business challenges, pursued their dreams, and ultimately found success.
