Knotty Tie Co. is an on demand custom apparel manufacturer specializing in ties, bow ties, and pocket squares. We’ve built our business around a desire to hire resettled refugees with well honed sewing skills that may otherwise go unutilized. We’ll share our story and our experience working across linguistic and cultural barriers to revolutionize the custom apparel industry.

African Community Center is one of three Denver organizations helping to welcome and resettle the thousands of individuals fleeing religious and political persecution that arrive here every year. ACC conducts educational and social service programs that help newcomers rebuild their lives in their new communities, navigate US systems and cultures, recover from past trauma, gain personal independence and economic self-sufficiency, and become able, productive and contributing members of society.

Weave Social Capital provides consulting and investment banking services for social enterprises and businesses based in low income communities. Ed Briscoe, Founder, will share why he chooses impact investing as a way to support underprivileged communities. Ed currently serves on the board as treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Micro-Finance Institute in Denver. is also an “Unreasonable Angel” with the Unreasonable Institute in Boulder, CO, a member of the Impact Angel Network, and an investor in the HUB Boulder.
