The Front Range is a Global Hotbed for Communications Infrastructure + Endeavor Colorado Launches to Support the Next Generation of High Impact Entrepreneurs

The Front Range is a Global Hotbed for Communications Infrastructure

Timing: Monday, September 16; 12:00pm - 12:40pm/MT

Description: Did you know that the Front Range is among the global hotbeds for communications infrastructure? Google, Facebook, Apple, Amazon, and Netflix have network teams in Denver and Boulder. The two baddest fiber networks in the world -- Zayo and CenturyLink/Level 3 -- are headquartered in the Front Range. Important data center providers, most notably, Vantage, Coresite, and Cologix are also headquartered here. Liberty Global, Dish, Flexential and H5 Data Centers are further examples.

Why is this a big deal? Communication infrastructure fuels global innovation. Nearly every meaningful tech trend is dependent and enabled by an accelerating availability of bandwidth. Examples are plentiful: 5G, IoT, cloud, cyber, autonomous vehicles, over-the-top entertainment, esports and online gaming, virtual and augmented reality, fintech, healthtech, blockchain and quantum computing.

Colorado’s innovators and infrastructure leaders come together for a dialogue on the intersection of innovation and infrastructure -- past, present and future. Join us for the provocative conversation and amazing ice cream from the entrepreneurs at Little Man.

Moderator: Dan Caruso, Chairman & CEO, Zayo
Speakers: Steve Walter (VP, Engineering, Google), Paul Szurek (President & CEO, Coresite), Sureel Choksi (President & CEO, Vantage Data Centers), Vivek Khemka (Chief Technology and Product Officer, Liberty Latin America), Brian Daniels (SVP, Strategic Networks, Z5G, Zayo)
