Game of Thrones Guide to RSA Encryption

Have you ever thought that you weren’t math minded? Did you have a bad math class experience and vow to use a calculator whenever math came calling? If you have, this talk is for you. The way schools teach math is wrong. Students are forced to calculate endlessly and memorize complex equations, but they aren’t exposed to the great works of math in the world around them. I aim to correct that. RSA Encryption puts graduate level mathematics to work keeping your data secure, but the concepts that make it possible are easy to understand. Using Game of Thrones as our guide, we will look how RSA encryption keeps your data safe and the math that makes it possible. This talk will be accessible to learners of all levels and will leave you with a deeper appreciation for the world of math around you.
