How might we support and encourage underrep­resented populations to pursue careers in high-demand jobs and advanced fields, especially in startups? This panel discussion explores insights and aha’s that occurred during a shared experience among Latina middle school students and Latina professionals in STEM and design careers. Students visited the professionals in their workplaces and spent time learning about how to pursue those career pathways. Hear about what happened and what implications it has for employee recruitment.
