Creative Mornings: Denver Startup Week Edition

CreativeMornings is an international breakfast club for creatives of all stripes around the world. The Denver chapter of CreativeMornings is excited to host our September event in conjunction with Denver Startup Week and The Curtis Hotel.

Our CreativeMornings international theme for September is "Compassion", and this year designer, coach, and facilitator Sunni Brown will talk to us about the importance of learning how to skillfully work with our internal editor, the voice inside that preemptively edits and critiques your work and silences your creative voice. Her session will introduce a powerful and proven technique to meet and befriend different parts of ourselves that arise when we attempt to create so that we can finally make an authentic contribution despite our negative self-talk.

Sunni is an author, speaker, coach, expert meeting facilitator and founder of the creative consultancy SB Ink. She was named one of the “100 Most Creative People in Business” and one of the “10 Most Creative People on Twitter” by Fast Company. Sunni is the best-selling author of Gamestorming and The Doodle Revolution and she leads a worldwide campaign advocating for visual, game, design and improvisational thinking. Her TED Talk on doodling has drawn more than 1.2 million views and she has been featured in major U.S. publications including The New York Times, The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, WIRED, Entrepreneur, and twice on CBS Sunday Morning.

We'll start at 8:30 and end promptly at 10.
