The Power Glove: A Case Study in Design Research

As a UX Designer you've probably heard a lot about doing research, but let's face it: it's tough. Your boss or your client doesn't want to pay for it, and if you're honest, a lot of the time you find yourself thinking you know pretty much everything you need to get started anyway.

In this presentation we'll talk about why we do research, the way it changes the design process, and how to get past the hurdles time and money put on doing research. We'll talk about these topics while looking at a perfect case study for guidance: the Nintendo Power Glove.
