Successful Young Entrepreneurs: How to be one, How to raise one

This panel is ideal for parents and educators to attend with (or without) budding kid-entrepreneurs of any age. Denver parents, teens and educators will share best practices about how kids can become and thrive as entrepreneurs. How do parents foster entrepreneurship at home? When should parents or teachers step in to help, and when to let kids flounder? How do kids balance the pressures and time commitments of starting a business while going to school? What can educators do to empower youth innovation? Learn about resources in Colorado for young entrepreneurs, including camps, school programs and mentorship. Hear first hand accounts from some of Denver’s best success stories: two of the teens on this panel appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank this year and landed a deal with Barbara Corcoran, and one 10-yr old has appeared on The Today Show. This will be an inspiring, educational and fun session for all!
