HELPFUL RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITY EVENT ORGANIZERS
We want your event to be epic!
A huge strength of Denver Startup Week is that it is for the community, by the community. Streamlining the number of sessions for the event this year means there are fewer “official” slots, but we don’t want that to keep the community from putting together great content.
We want to see your meetups, presentations, open houses and more on the DSW schedule this fall. Since this is a new way to engage with DSW, we’ve put together some additional guidance for event organizers - it’s our goal to help you make it all happen in September!
VENUE OPTIONS
We are incredibly excited to share a list of low or no cost venues that will be excited to host your community event. These venues are interested in giving back by opening their doors to organizers like you. Check through this spreadsheet and reach out to one that seems like a good fit:

Couple reminders:
- Please don’t spam all of the venues. Pick one that seems like a good fit as a starting point.
- This list will continue to grow as more venues raise their hands to host. If you are a venue, fill out the form here.
- When reaching out to the venue, please include as many specifics as you can about your event, including room setup needs, audiovisual support, day/time, and anything else that will be helpful.
- Please follow our community code of conduct and express gratitude and flexibility towards our potential venue hosts! They are adjusting to this new model just like you are.
Outside of this list, think outside the box! Just because you are hosting an event does not mean you need to spend thousands on a venue. Your local coffee shop, pub, park, or even your own office building might be a great option for a meetup. Or, consider nontraditional style events such as a bike ride or neighborhood walk!
