Denver Startup Week is back!
We are excited to officially announce the return of Denver Startup Week 2024! Your favorite event around entrepreneurship, innovation, and community is coming back September 17 - 19 for its thirteenth year with a couple of exciting changes.
A lot has changed in our post-COVID world and we want to make sure that Denver Startup Week can provide the best possible experience for our community with all of these new dynamics. Here’s what’s new for 2024:
Streamlined Schedule
We’re matching our schedule to maximize engagement and energy from the community by curating three amazing days of programming. The original format was made for jumping in and out of events as you were in the office during the week. That is no longer the norm. We are condensing our schedule down to three days and streamlining the number of events to make it possible for you to get the biggest impact out of your time.
Simpler Tracks
We want it as easy as possible for you to find the types of sessions you want to attend. In the past we did this with tracks focused on roles within a startup. With our streamlined number of events, it only made sense to simplify the number of tracks as well.
Here are the tracks for 2024:
- Grow: Designed for those looking to build, fund, and scale their businesses. Dive into sessions on startup essentials, securing funding, and strategies for sustainable growth. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your venture to the next level, the Grow Track has you covered.
- Create: Offers a comprehensive look at product development and creation. Topics will span from ideation and design to development and market launch. If you’re passionate about bringing innovative products to life, the Create Track will provide the insights and tools you need.
- Operate: Focuses on the day-to-day and special operations of running a business. Sessions will cover everything from team management and organizational culture to operational efficiencies and strategic planning. Perfect for leaders aiming to optimize their business operations and drive success from within.
- Ignite: Showcases the best of the best from all events and tracks. This track features standout sessions that highlight the most impactful content, ensuring that you don’t miss out on the top insights and trends across the entrepreneurial spectrum.
Community Events
A huge strength of Denver Startup Week is that it is for the community, by the community. Streamlining the number of sessions for the event means there are fewer “official” slots, but we don’t want that to keep the community from putting together great content.
That’s why we are adding an entirely new element to Denver Startup Week: Community Events! Think of it like the cork board at your local coffee shop. If you have any awesome event ideas, submit them on the Denver Startup Week website. Whether meetups, coffee klatches, morning yoga or anything else, it’s all welcome. After a quick review to ensure submissions are within our guidelines, we’ll post a link to your event on the schedule.
The time, location, event support, and promotion are all up to you. We’ll make sure that the Denver Startup Week community knows to check out these events and find which ones they want to attend via our website schedule.
Community events can happen on any day between September 16 and 20, even though "official" DSW events will occur on September 17 , 18 and 19.
