Basecamp Speaker Events Revealed

With just a month to go until Denver Startup Week 2019, we thought it was the perfect time to reveal some of the big names coming to Basecamp Powered by Chase Ink® this year...are you ready?!

We’re beyond excited to announce that four of the biggest sports stars of this era (or any other) – Lindsey Vonn, John Elway, Cristie Kerr, and Matt Mayberry – along with Chase leaders will be live at Basecamp, and areas near Basecamp, sharing their stories and discussing lessons learned as entrepreneurs. Their accomplishments are far too great to sum up in a few sentences, but here are the broad swipes:

• General Manager and President of Football Operations for the Denver Broncos, Hall of Fame quarterback, two-time Super Bowl winner, and enormously successful multi-industry business leader in automotive, restaurants, wine, and of course, football: John Elway. Scoring Big in Business with John Elway | Basecamp, Thursday, Sept. 19 at 12 p.m.
• World-renowned LPGA golfer with 20 wins on the tour, including two major championships, formerly ranked as the top female golfer in the world, and founder of the Birdies for Breast Cancer foundation and Kerr Cellars winery: Cristie Kerr. How She Won Off the Green: A Wine Tasting Event with LPGA Golfer Cristie Kerr | Location TBA, Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m.
• Co-Head, Technology and Disruptive Commerce, Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries, Alton McDowell, supported by J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking and Chase for Business® will uncover which meetings successful founders had that altered the journey of their companies. | 3 Meetings That Changed Everything, Basecamp, Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 12 p.m.
• Former NFL Linebacker for the Chicago Bears, author of the book Winning Plays, one of the most popular columnists in Entrepreneur Magazine, motivational speaker, and CEO of his eponymous training and consulting company: Matt Mayberry. How to Tackle Goal Setting with Matt Mayberry | Basecamp, Monday, Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

We are so, so thrilled to team up with Chase Ink and bring these legends to Basecamp at Denver Startup Week. We want to get as many of YOU, OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY, into the events as fire code allows. So, here’s the tea:

• Tickets for the Lindsey Vonn, John Elway and Cristie Kerr events will go live via Eventbrite on Wednesday, August 21 at noon MST.
• The first 150 to register for either or both of the Lindsey Vonn and John Elway events will receive ‘meet and greet’ access with Lindsey and John after their sessions (you will be notified with further instructions if you are one of the chosen few!)
• There are only 100 tickets to the Cristie Kerr event, so each attendee will be able to attend an exclusive ‘meet and greet’ after the discussion
• Emails with the ticket info and link will ONLY GO TO REGISTERED DSW ATTENDEES
• You MUST be registered for Denver Startup Week to attend any of the sessions
