Is unit testing harmful to your startup?

Over the last decade, software testing has risen in popularity and use. It has also created numerous methodologies such as TDD, specification testing, mocking, and many others. However, there are some technologist that believe that certain forms of testing, specifically unit testing, are not only worthless but harmful to a code base. This has spurred a heated debate between those that have fully embraced the unit testing methodology and those you have begun to move away from it. This session brings together a panel of senior technologists to discuss software testing in detail. They will talk about the different types of testing and how each one can help and/or hurt your application. This session aims to help startups test their software more quickly and efficiently by understanding what the core purpose of testing is and how best to test your software.

Presentation will be at ReadyTalk on 7th floor of building
