The Entrepreneur's Balance

Target Audience: Entrepreneurs & high level management seeking out a balanced life. Companies with 1+ employees are welcome, we are not biased. Heck, bring the entire team! Techniques are applicable to single business owners, high level management and those with employees.

What: Attendees will learn how to approach their life to create synergy between being a busy entrepreneur and a balanced life. They will learn how to apply innovative coaching and practical lifestyle management techniques to their own lives as well as to help employees tweak their health and lifestyle to increase energy, decrease stress and improve productivity.

Why: Creating a balance as an entrepreneur fits directly into Entrepreneur week since Entrepreneurs are passionate, over-involved and work hard, often neglecting their own life balance for the life of their businesses.

It’s an awesome idea since we could all use a little guidance in how to create our best, happiest versions of ourselves. Life balance leads to more successful businesses and less burn out.

Seminar Synopsis:
Entrepreneurs are passionate, over-involved and work hard. It’s invigorating, however it often means we struggle with life and health balance. This session will discuss the different ways we focus on health, how it's essential to your success, and your employee's happiness. This session will address the life balance issues entrepreneurs often lack and the solutions we seek.

We will discuss some practical applications to help your employees tweak their health and lifestyle to increase energy, decrease stress and improve productivity. The happier and healthier people are at work, the better it is for business (for profit and morale). The facilitator will work with attendees through basic fundamentals to create a balanced life.

Speaker:
Kristin Darga, Ideal Day Coaching
I came to Colorado for the skiing and stayed for the community of entrepreneurs. After working with entrepreneurs in a multitude of companies, non-profits and my own businesses, I have seen first-hand the pressure to be everything to a business. As a multi-preneur (owner of 2 businesses), I have noticed at different stages how the rest of my relationships, health and social life can often fall to the back burner. Once I made a few simple changes, I noticed the incredible impact it had on my business. During my training, I was lucky to study under some of the world’s top health and wellness experts at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. My teachers include Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University. The program at the Institute for Integrative nutrition covers over 100 dietary theories, innovative coaching and practical lifestyle management techniques.
