Physical Product Competition/Denver Shark Tank

Come see some of Colorado's most innovative physical product companies present their products to a panel of Colorado VCs. 10-12 companies will be selected to give a 4 minute presentation to the VCs and will have 5 minutes to field questions and receive critiques. Once all the companies have presented the audience will vote on a winner. The winner gets bragging rights of DSW 2014 Most Innovative Product!

Shark Tank VCs:
Peter Adams of Rockies Venture Club
Peter is co-author of Venture Capital for Dummies (John Wiley & Sons, 2013) and holds a BA from Colorado College and an MBA from Regis University. He has been an entrepreneur five times over, and has spend over a decade in Corporate America as a Director of Economics and CIO for Design Workshop, a national architecture firm. Most recently, he was a strategic consultant for government, non-profit, and private companies. Peter is also the CEO for BizGirls.org, a non-profit summer camp for high-school girls to learn entrepreneurship, and is an adjunct professor atColorado State University’s Executive MBA Program.

David Gold
David Gold of Access VP: David Gold is a Managing Director at Access Venture Partners. Prior to joining Access Venture Partners, David was founder and CEO of ProSavvy, an eProcurement and online marketplace company which grew to profitability and a merger. After ProSavvy, David spent a number of years working with early stage companies as an advisor, board member and part time executive before joining the Access team.

Colleen Kazemi
Colleen Kazemi is a Denver native with an extensive Cross-Channel and Digital marketing background who has been connecting and advising local Entrepreneurs and Investors. Colleen has experience developing go-to-market product strategy, content strategies, social media, email, web or mobile strategy, vendor selection, global operational performance enhancements, customer engagement models, and staffing best-practices. Krishna Kunapali
Krishna Kunapali is an angel investor coming from an extensive software development background. He founded a Research and Development company StarpathIT Inc in 2007 and Co-Founded a google analytics based business WebPresence LLC in 2010. As an entrepreneur, Krishna has spent thousands of hours and created six different web/mobile SaaS applications from scratch.
He did some successful real-estate investments in US and India that gave him the opportunity to look into angel investments. Krishna has been a member of RVC since last october where he learned angel investment fundamentals. His experience as an entrepreneuer is helping him build a good investor profile. So far, Krishna has invested in three tech ideas that he believes are cool.

Paul Neilson
Paul Neilson is a highly experienced engineer and entrepreneur. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Denver (1974), and a MS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell (1984). Mr. Neilson developed expertise in the design, calibration and manufacture of process control instrumentation early in his career while at Panametrics Inc, (now GE Infrastructure Sensing), where he held positions as Applications Engineer, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager and Operations Manager.
Currently Mr. Neilson is the CEO of femtoScale, an industrial instrumentation start-up located in Denver. In addition to serving as CEO, Mr. Neilson is an active Angel Investor with a number of recent investments in Colorado companies including femtoScale, Vet DC, P2B Investor, Storyvine, Evolutionary Genomics and Lakeshore.
