Join the Denver Office of Economic Development as it honors the best and brightest ideas in small business through its citywide business plan competition. The top three start-up and early-stage finalists will pitch their concepts at this live judging event, with a grand prize of $30,000 and consulting services to be awarded. Judging panel to include David Gold, managing director, Access Venture Partners; Nick Wyman and Kate Shillo, directors at Galvanize Ventures; Nancy Phillips, president and CEO, Viawest; Jeffrey Kass, attorney and shareholder, Polsinelli; Doug Van der Zwaag with U.S. Bank; Catharine Merigold, General Partner at Vista Ventures. A patent attorney from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Denver will also join the panel.

The event will also feature the top pitches of the Teen BizPlan Award category, presented by Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. Audience members will get to vote for the top teen award.
